The TWH-101W1 is a small wireless unit that remotely controls the PTTs and Volume of TWH-101R and TWH-104R radios over a maximum distance of 2 meters, thus avoiding the need to directly access the radio unit.
The unit features two PTT key buttons (PTT A and PTT B), two volume key buttons (up and down) and a stripe for fastening over a gun barrel or hand. The unit provides autonomy greater than 2 years and allows the replacement of its internal CR2450 Lithium cell.
